I founded SOLUTRAD in November 1991 in a small office of thirty square meters (30 m2) with two employees.
Despite the lack of comfortable resources at that period my ambition, based on twenty (20) years’ experience in Chemical an Oil Industry was to be in the first class an among the most reliable trading companies in Africa.
The logistics and custom clearance needs of our customers growing quickly on the one hand and the economic circumstances becoming critical on the other hand, I decided to take up the challenge to provide a complete and flexible integrated solution by expanding the field of our chosen activity into : logistics and custom clearance.

- Import Request (DPI),
- Custom Declaration,
- Sea shipment Temporary Unloading and withdrawal authorization, (APDE),
- Air shipment Temporary Withdrawal, (DEP).
The custom declaration is made up of:
- Original supplier,
- Original bill of loading (B/L) (sea shipment),
- Original way bill (AWB) (Air shipment),
- Packing list,
- Insurance certificate,
- Cargo tracking note (BSC),
- Import request declaration (DPI),
- Inspection certificate (AV).
The delivery delay is 72 h maximum from date of gathering of all customs declaration documents.
